Mummy’s Chilies is building a farmer-powered supply chain by working with smallholder farmers in the Machakos and Kitui region. Through our offtaker model, farmers receive training, irrigation support, and a predictable market for chilies grown specifically for Mummy’s Chilies.

Mummy’s Chilies is currently strengthening its food safety, labelling, nutritional testing and production processes as part of its KEBS certification journey. Our goal is to build a trusted Kenyan chili sauce brand that customers, retailers and partners can rely on.

Mummy’s Chilies was created from a love of bold flavour, fresh ingredients, and handmade food. What began as a small-batch chili sauce brand has grown into a Kenyan range of sauces, oils, jams and pickles — each crafted to bring real flavour to everyday meals.

Unlike many shelf-stable sauces, Mummy’s Chilies is made fresh, with no preservatives and no cooking. This allows the ingredients to retain their natural brightness, texture and taste.

Today, the brand is entering a new chapter: KEBS certification, stronger packaging, wider distribution, and a farmer-powered supply chain that connects our sauces directly to smallholder growers.
